Last night, as it was pouring here in Atlanta, I headed out to Trader Joe’s to pick up some tomato sauce to make chili. As usual, I forgot my custom bag. Since I often forget custom bags, I have about 10 million Trader Joe’s paper bags waiting in a cabinet at home to be reused for something… anything. So instead of collecting one more I opted to carry my items by hand, piled under my chin, back to my car in the rain -- even refusing the umbrella escort offered to me by an employee. Trader Joe’s let’s you enter weekly contests every time you byob(ag), so I really should get on that. What tricks do you use to help you remember to bring custom bags?
